The staff do not listen to the clients. They just look for jobs "they" need filled. I want a project manager position, which I am qualified for, she's looking for driver positions!!! I want $18/hr and was told I'll get called for pay lower than that, I told them don't bother!

Gave absolutely no care what so ever in finding me employment. Called every single day for 3 weeks straight inquiring about work and never received ANY phone calls back. Tried working out of another office and they told me they were unable to help because I was working out of a different office. Provides absolutely no help in finding employment. Waste of time.

Complaint about an assistant manager at Brunswick office

I did NOT appreciate the way Neil Hannibal talked to me!!! He does not know me at all and he had the audacity to tell me that I dont want to work.

I resent that. I have a long work history. I am currently unemployed ad I am seriously looking for employment. I was not happy with the job that he found for me and he wanted me to start tomorrow.

How dare you say that to me! At first I saw I would start on Monday but as I thought about it I was not comfortable about this particular job. I feel that is my right. He told me that he could not help me and he was closing my application!

I find that appalling!

I was very disappointed with the way I was treated and I dont like him and I dont want to work with him. I cant believe that is the way your company treats people-extremely unprofessional!!!

Preferred solution: I think people should be aware of how I treated. Stay far away from this guy. He made me feel terrible. He told me I did not want to work! Nothing could be further from the truth. He does not know me at all! He needs to learn how to talk to people.

As a sales rep you have to work for Area Temps at least 3 years plus to get certified, and make any kind of commission. The manager Alison at Mayfield plays head games and is very rude. I had a job offer from another company while I working at Area Temps. The owner Kent at Area Temps promised me the same salary the other company offered to keep me. I stayed based on an upgrade in my salary. Never came through. The only people who make it there are the people who have been there 15 years plus. Very cut throat company. The older reps do not let you get ahead. You have to fight and scream to get ahead. Very caddy. If you want to discount the bill rate to keep the company. The manager wont let you. But, if they like you, maybe you will be allowed to discount. I regret not taking the position with the other company. I blame myself for staying as long as I did.

If you do have an opportunity to work for Area Temps. Try to get in with the Lakewood facility.

Good people. Gail the manager is a good lady.

You will be happy there. They are honest and treat people right.

I went there today to see about a job they said they had for me, so I do the front desk paperwork, then this lady called me in told me to go to the office in the back. Right then I had the feeling, she said because of my record almost 27 years ago that I had to fill this paperwork work out. It said I would have to go get court records, letters of recommendation, some other mess from the courts. I said, I am not a sex offender, rapists or murderer. Nothing on my record is violent. She then said put in the work and I might can help you! I said I came here to get work but your telling me your holding something this old against me. That was very wrong of them so, I left up out of there walked passed a attorney office, I told them what happened, I was told that cannot do that at all. So guest what's next Area Temps in Lakewood? You will soon get the answer!!!

They seem disorganized and then blame the candies for their disorganization... thought it was just me, but a good friend of mine had almost the same experience.

I am interest in one of their openings, but have chosen to move on. Not worth the anxiety.

Begged me to come apply fir several positions NEVER called me for any job. I think Area Temps is still racist im quailified for the several jobs and Allison didnt place me at any..I wouldnt recommend applying at Area Temps.

Im quailifed for every job I applied for Alison NEVER called me regarding any open position although I called her after every email I received from Indeed..I highly recommend applying at any other temp agency besides Area Temps.

Independence Ohio office is trash, send emails no response or confirmation they got it. Once you become an employee they ignore you and your calls. They change on you. But when you first apply and show interest they sound so nice and want you to come in. Load of crap

I went into the Lakewood office and spoke with a recruiter that allegedly had an opening immediately. That was not the case.... i then spoke with Jessica. She said the exact same job was available Thursday but that I needed to show up at a different place Wednesday ( time of this review ). I showed up to the work site. No one was there at all for about 20 minutes. Finally a very rude and standoffish lady showed up and looked at my boots and decided that they were dress shoes ( they were jump boots that i do shine since im former military , i cant help others ignorance)... with that the lady dismissed me. My big problem came when i contacted Jessica and she proceeded to berate me about why i would show up wearing dress shoes ( again having to explain they are jump boots that i still shine ). Also had a really pissy attitude about why would i take said job with a bad back... i explained to her that i had told the original agent about my issue... she then with the same unprofessional tone continued to berate me about it. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. They treat veterans like garbage.

I went to Area Temp because a job I applied for on ZipRecruiter said the job was through Area Temps. I didn't realize I would have to spend hours signing papers and waiting for an interview. The lady who interviewed me said the job was through a different Area Temps location and she would have to check on it and get back to me. I never heard anything back. I left several messages and emails and never got a return call. I now think the job may not have even existed and I signed a contract for nothing. Don't waste your time like I did going to Area Temps.

Cleveland, Lakewood and Parma offices do not return phone calls. I have left several voicemails and I have never received a return call. I called last week and asked to speak with someone directly and please do not transfer me to voicemail. GUESS WHAT?? They hung up on me!! I wish I would have never wasted my time applying and taking all their tests. They will tell you to come in and that they do have jobs and they don't have anything! They are just trying to fill their quota. They really need to take a customer service class because when you call they talk to you like you are bothering them. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!
